Simple Steps to Lower Down Your Stress

Mental Stress, emotional Stress, physical stress or any kind of stress are the hurdles of being human and must be overcome to keep us sane and are indeed spices in our lives. Without them, life could be monotonous and boring. But the key of stress is to keep it to a level that is manageable because beyond that can be a threat to your mental health.

How will I know that I am stressed and nearly reaching my threshold?

If one is overwhelmed by his/her current problem and preoccupied by it, worries a lot and the easiest way is to look at optical illusions (iGMG and try) and if it wobbles or moves a lot it means you are definitely under stress.
The Easy Step

• Pick a song that makes you relax. It is one’s choice to what genre you are more comfortable to the symphony of Jepsen, Bieber, or Lady Gaga, it is your pick anyway.

• Diaphragmatic breathing. Put on of your hand over your chest and the other one is over your belly. When breathing diaphragmatically, the stomach should be the one moving up and down than your chest so. BREATHE IN… BREATHE OUT… INHALE… EXHALE.

• Close your eyes and spell the word R-E-L-A-X then say the word slowly… R-E-L-A-X (relax)… R-E-L-A-X… (relax)… don’t rush… R-E-L-A-X (relax). (Repeat as long as you want and achieve mental calmness.)

• Tense your muscles cephalocaudal and then let go. This improves your blood flow, improves oxygenation and the sudden gush of blood makes you more R-E-L-A-X (relax).

• Tense the muscle of your forehead… Tense it, tense it, tense it, then LET GO… R-E-L-A-X (relax). Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out…

• Tense the muscle of your jaws… Tense it, tense it, tense it, then LET GO… R-E-L-A-X (relax). breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out…

• Tense the muscle of your shoulders… Tense it, tense it, tense it, then LET GO… R-E-L-A-X (relax). Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out…

• Tense the muscle of your arms…tense it, tense it, tense it, then LET GO… R-E-L-A-X (relax). Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out…

• Tense the muscle of your fist…tense it, tense it, tense it, then LET GO… R-E-L-A-X (relax). Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out…

• Tense the muscle of your legs…tense it, tense it, tense it, then LET GO… R-E-L-A-X (relax). Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out…

• Tense the muscle of your calf…tense it, tense it, tense it, then LET GO… R-E-L-A-X (relax). Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out…

• Tense the muscle of your feet…tense it, tense it, tense it, then LET GO… R-E-L-A-X (relax). Breathe in… breathe out… breathe in… breathe out…

Repeat this sequence as you wanted to especially when burned-out and making an important decision or solving any problems. This might not give you all the answer but your mind is clear and it pumps enough courage to face the and as Amir Khan says it, and say it with me patting your anxious heart… ALL IS WELL…
